Peru Balan Ding
Founder, MD/CEO
Mr. Peru is the founder of Persafe, a hands-on business leader who built the company from the ground up. Educated in Safety Engineering Technology, he significantly elevated Persafe's standards. His people-centric leadership earned him prestigious awards such as the Sarawak State Entrepreneur of the Year (Master Entrepreneur) and the Usahawan Bumiputera Berjaya – Sektor Pembinaan award in 2019. A dedicated advocate for Orang Ulu and Dayak entrepreneurship, Mr. Peru serves as Vice President at DCCI and Deputy President at OUCCI.
Jared Peru
Executive Director
Mr. Jared represents the new generation of leadership at Persafe. Equipped with a Certificate in Civil Engineering from TAFE College, Australia, he began his journey as an apprentice and Personal Assistant to Mr. Peru. After gaining hands-on field experience, he now serves as the Executive Director of Persafe. Like his father, Jared has been instilled with the importance of upholding safety practices at Persafe. Outside of work, Jared enjoys golfing with his father and friends. An avid golfer from a young age, he has won several major golf tournaments in Sarawak.
Sandra Usup
General Manager
Mdm Sandra holds a Corporate Master’s in Business Administration and a Bachelor's Degree (Hons) in Accounting. Prior to joining Persafe, she gained extensive experience in managerial roles in Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, and Budgeting with Malaysia's largest oil and gas company. At Persafe, she oversees the company’s business and financial strategy, including the development of policies, systems, processes, and human resources. She also constantly reviews governance, health and safety practices to ensure Persafe complies with and exceeds Quality and HSE standards.
Noel Imang
Technical & Operations Manager
Noel holds a Bachelor’s Degree (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering. With over 7 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry, he has specialized in project execution and technical documentation for ASME and DOSH standards. His expertise makes him a top-notch technical and operations leader at Persafe, excelling in both technical and commercial aspects. His notable projects include: Construction of 8 sphere tanks for the Steam Cracker Complex (SCC) in RAPID Pengerang and storage tank maintenance with PETRONAS.
